This full colour, eye-catching process creates beautfiul works of art, stained glass window effects, light box media, store window displays or posters of your favorite photo. Our Encad Novajet pro 600e printer offers outstanding graphic quality on a wide range of media for the artist or the store owner using computerized scans or designed files for both interior and limited exterior applications (usually 6 months - 2 years). Preferred file formats include Illustrator CS2 (.ai), Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) or .eps format files.

Poster Finishing

Lamination: Laminating your posters & banners gives them extra strength and protects them from water & liquids. Uses include tradeshows, poster calendars etc.

Dry Mounting: Apply your poster to foam core, which is light weight used for tradeshows, easel posters...any poster that is for short term use.

Plaque Mounting: Apply your poster to wood sprayed with a laminate to protect the image. Comes with a choice of beveled edge colours to finish the look. A great alternative to custom framing odd size pictures and posters.

Float Mounting: Using the same procedure as plaque mounting, the finished product has the appearance of floating from the wall because of a smaller piece of wood behind the plaque mount.

Flush Mounting: Again using the same procedure as a plaque mounting, however the image is applied to a thicker piece of wood showing more of the edge colour that you have chosen.

Media and applications used:

Indoor Use Medias:

40 lb paper stock: This media is used for indoor use when lamination is required. Creates ideal short term banners and posters for sales, birthdays, family reunions etc.

Photo Realistic Matte: This media is used for indoor use only creating rich quality output on matte finish media. Finishes nicely by applying to a plaque mount. Lamination is not available on this media.

Photo Realistic Gloss: This media is used for indoor use only creating high impact, high gloss resultsl. Lamination is also not available on this media. Finished nicely by apply to a plaque mount.

This media is great for reproduction of artwork such as paintings, drawings and digital art/photography. Look great when stretched on a wooden frame.

Backlit Media: Available in either frost or clear finishes. used in indoor light boxes. (Light boxes not supplied by Digital Post)

Outdoor Medias:

Vinyl Banner: 15mm & 20mm material used for indoor or outdoor applications. Banner can be left unfinished or edge taped & grommetted to suit your needs.

Adhesive Vinyl Media: This matte, pressure sensitive vinyl provides outstanding colour and high ink densities for photo quality promotional signage when applied to
a-frames, car magnets & coroplast. Laminate for extra protection and to brighten colours. Great for short run decals almost any size.

Water Safe Paper: Short term outdoor posters, this media is water-safe but not tear resistant. This is less expensive than vinyl & great for short-term promotions.
